Portugal to Legalize Gay Marriage

On the heels of the Pope urging opposition to the gay marriage bill …  Portugal’s President, Mr. Anibal Cavaco Silva, said just hours ago that he would ratify the bill and sign it into law.
Portugal is the sixth European country to allow gay marriage.
Congratulations, Portugal!  (and better luck next time, Popey)
