George Rekers, board member of NARTH (National Association for Research & Therapy of Homosexuality) has resigned from their board.  Rekers and NARTH believe that homosexuality is an illness that they can cure.

This follows the release of a photo showing him returning from a European holiday with the “bellhop” he hired to carry his bags for him, seen here:

Nothing wrong with hiring help to carry your bags, right?  I mean, he does have a medical condition.

So why isn’t his helper (in the white pants and maroon shirt) handling any of the baggage?

Turns out, the bellhop’s name is Lucien, and Rekers hired him on rentboy.com.  If you don’t know rentboy.com – it is famous the wolrd over as the site where you can hire men to help you with all sorts of things…  I have had a look at it, and luggage handling isn’t one of the services typically offered.  So George must have made special arrangements.

The story is almost too good to be true… esp since Rekers then changed his tune from “i have a back injury” to “i wanna spend time with a gay sinner to show him the error of his ways”

From the sound of it, most of the Christian teachings took place during naked massages.
